Overview

Spoleto, a popular chain of Italian restaurants in Brazil, Mexico, and Costa Rica, has chosen Central Florida for its first location as it expands into the U.S. Spoleto combines the speed of fast-casual service with the quality food of an Italian restaurant. Guests can choose from pasta, flatbreads, salads, and soups, and interact with a chef to experiment with a variety of fresh, organic ingredients to create their own recipe. "It's like having your own Italian kitchen and you're the chef," says John Velasquez, president of Spoleto USA.

 

Challenge

Muse was awarded the launch of Spoleto's first locations in Florida. The first creative initiative was a visual system inspired by the vintage Italian poster design, including in-restaurant executions, key art, color palette, typography, packaging, launch campaign, and website.

 

Solution

Given MUSE’s unique experience on the Italian market, MUSE was able to bring an authentic yet approachable style with consumers being invited to express their own culinary creations.
